# Read one finding

> Get a finding's records, evidence, fix and history with auditFinding.

A finding is one record that breaks one statement. `auditFinding` returns all of it: which records in which systems, why the check flagged them, who fixes it and where, and how Darpan confirms the fix.

Finding ids come from [`auditReport`](https://developers.drpn.ai/graphql/tasks/check-the-morning-audit) or [`findings`](https://developers.drpn.ai/graphql/tasks/list-open-findings). A finding of another tenant reads as `Finding F-… was not found`.

## Read the answer

| Field | Tells you |
| - | - |
| `headline` | One line naming the record and what is wrong |
| `records` | The record in each system: `system`, `recordType`, the `id` people see, and NetSuite's `internalId` |
| `evidence.rule` | The exact condition the record failed, in plain words |
| `evidence.expected`, `actual`, `difference` | The amounts and where each came from, when the rule is about money |
| `evidence.checks` | Each sub-condition, whether it `passed`, and what was seen |
| `fix.owner`, `fix.where`, `fix.action` | Who fixes it, in which system, and what to change, with this record's values filled in |
| `fix.verify.passesWhen` | What Darpan's next check must see to close the finding |
| `history` | Every state change and sighting, oldest first |
