# Statement

> One thing the tenant needs to be true, its checks this morning, and the findings that break it.

## Fields

| Field | Type | Description |

| `checks` | [`[StatementCheck!]!`](https://developers.drpn.ai/graphql/objects/statement-check) | Each configured check that tests this statement; `[]` when none is configured. |
| `counts` | [`FindingCounts`](https://developers.drpn.ai/graphql/objects/finding-counts) | Ledger counts for this statement; never null, even when its check did not run today. |
| `findings` | [`[FindingSummary!]!`](https://developers.drpn.ai/graphql/objects/finding-summary) | Open, pending and fixed-today findings, oldest first, at most 50. |
| `findingsOmitted` | [`Int`](https://developers.drpn.ai/graphql/scalars/int) | How many findings were left out by the 50 cap; `0` when all are shown. |
| `id` | [`String`](https://developers.drpn.ai/graphql/scalars/string) | The statement id, e.g. R4. |
| `reason` | [`String`](https://developers.drpn.ai/graphql/scalars/string) | Why the statement's checks were partial or did not run. |
| `status` | [`String`](https://developers.drpn.ai/graphql/scalars/string) | The worst status among this statement's checks; `notRun` when it has none. |
| `text` | [`String`](https://developers.drpn.ai/graphql/scalars/string) | The statement in the tenant's own words. |
| `weight` | [`String`](https://developers.drpn.ai/graphql/scalars/string) | Whether the tenant stated it (`firm`) or it was derived and awaits confirmation (`derived`). |
